A McAllen man raising three young boys is fighting to get more than $30,000 dollars in child support from his ex-wife.
But Sean Brown told Action 4 News that he is not getting any help from the Texas Attorney General's Office in collecting that money.
Brown said he is among a small minority of men who get custody of the children and file child support claims against their ex-wives.
The father of three said that he would have already been put in jail and labeled a "deadbeat dad" if things were the other way around.
Brown told Action 4 News he wants to fight the state's "discrimination" against fathers like him.
He said he wants the state to equally enforce Texas child support laws.
