Followers of the Catholic faith all around the world have chimed in on who they believe should be the next pope.

As the world waits anxiously for the announcement, Action 4 News spoke exclusively with Harlingen native Gilberto Cavazos-González, a Franciscan Friar and Professor of Spirituality at the Catholic Theological Union in Chicago, IL.

Cavasos-González is on sabbatical, currently teaching at the Pontifical University Antonianum in Rome as a Visiting Professor, and he believes the next Pope will not only be Hispanic, but also from Latin America.
