Woman strikes girlfriend with high heel, hits her child

A woman was charged with Injury to a Child and Assault Family Violence after she hit her girlfriend with a shoe and struck the girlfriend’s child on the forehead.

According to the victim, Salas became jealous when she was on the phone with another woman.

Salas threw several items across the apartment and struck the walls with a closed fist many times.

The victim told police Salas threw a high heel shoe at her, striking her right arm causing a bruise.

The victim’s 4-year-old child became upset, so the victim went to pick her up to comfort her.

Police said while the child was in the woman’s arms, Salas struck the child on the forehead.

The victim and 4-year-old fled from the apartment to contact police.

Officers responded to the 2700 block of Los Amigos Drive at around 4 a.m and took Salas’ into custody.

The 25-year-old’s bond for Injury to a Child was set at $25,000 and her bond for Assault Family Violence was set at $6,000.
