A man is on the run after robbing a San Juan liquor store Friday night.

It happened on the 200 block of East Expressway 83 around 8:30 p.m.

The armed man, dressed in black pants and a black jacket, walked into the store demanding cash.

Officials said he took off with over $1000.

While inside the store, he fired one round to the ceiling.

The suspect was last seen walking eastbound on Highway 83.

Action 4 News will provide surveillance footage from the robbery as soon as it becomes available.
