Action 4 News is gearing up to bring you the 7th Annual Share Your Christmas food and toy drive.

This year, the need for food is far greater than previous years. Ruby Martinez with the RGV Food Bank explained more on Action 4 Sunrise on Tuesday.

There is a 40% increase of the amount of people needing some kind of assistance according to Martinez.

We will be broadcasting live on December 6th from H.E.B Plus! in Mission, H.E.B. on Parades Line in Brownsville, and from the KGBT studio in Harlingen:

All HEB stores across the Valley will be collecting toys and food. You can also donate $1, $3 or $5 dollars to “Share Your Christmas” at any participating HEB store.
