Donna teen killed in motorcycle accident in Edinburg

A Donna teen is dead following a Thursday afternoon motorcycle accident in Edinburg.

It all happened near the intersection of Schunior and Doolittle Roads.

Edinburg police told Action 4 News that the 19-year-old Abimelec Arias-Rodriguez was killed in the accident.

Arias-Rodriguez was riding a motorcycle when he tried to make it through a red light.

But a van pulling out a private driveway hit him.

Investigators said Arias-Rodriguez died at the hospital.
