Firefighters were able to put out the flames that completely destroyed mobile homes in San Benito.

San Benito Fire Department told Action 4 News that two mobile homes caught fire.

The fires happened Sunday around 5:20 a.m. at 25924 Williams Road.

A family with three children lived inside one of the homes.

The other home was unoccupied and no injuries were reported.

The father said they had been without power for a couple days so a neighbor was using an extension cord to give them electricity.

They believe that is what caused the fire.
