An argument over a Lone Star card ended with a San Benito woman behind bars on a list of criminal charges.

San Benito police arrested 27-year-old Victoria Rae Moreno late Thursday afternoon.

Investigators told Action 4 News that Moreno was involved in a disturbance at a home on the 200 block of China Street.

Officers arrived to find Moreno and another woman arguing about the use of a Lone Star card.

An officer issued a trespassing warning for Moreno because she did not live at the home but she allegedly refused to leave.

The officer tried to arrested but she allegedly fled and struggled with him when he caught up with her.

Moreno allegedly hit the officer in the face with her elbow while being placed in handcuffs.

Police charged Moreno with assault of a public servant, resisting arrest and criminal trespassing.

Moreno remains in custody at the Cameron County Jail under a $40,000 dollars in bonds.
