San Benito Police said that on September 29, Flor Estela Flores accused a 48-year-old male of assaulting her.

The man was then arrested for assault as result of the accusations.

On a later date, detectives reviewed video surveillance the day of the incident, and found out that Flores was the aggressor, and not the male subject.

On Thursday officers then executed a warrant  for the 39 year old  for filing a false report against a peace officer.

Flores was then placed under arrest, and taken to the city jail where she was later arraigned by Municipal Judge David Garza who set bond at $2,000.

She was later transported to the Cameron County Jail.
