Traffic came to a stand still on Expressway 83 Wednesday morning.

It happened around 10 am near the Kansas City exit in La Feria.

Authorities on scene say a woman was driving westbound when she hit a barrel on the outside lane.

There were two children riding with her in the car.

The impact tore off one of the tires on her Ford Focus, causing the car to rollover at least twice.

All three were taken to a nearby hospital for minor injuries.
