STC Folklorico prepares for upcoming performances

It's a dance genre with deep roots in Mexican culture. Ballet folklorico fuses together music, costumes and dance moves from various regions of Mexico to put forth a
more than colorful performance.
               
Cristobal Rojas, Coordinator of the South Texas College Ballet Folklorico, stopped by Action 4 Sunrise along with a few performers to put on a show for our viewers.
               
The program at STC is now only in its second year of existence, but they will soon be hosting their first dance series.
               
"Tradiciones" will be performed at the Valley View High School Performing Arts Auditorium beginning on Friday, Feb. 22.

Friday, 2/22: 7 p.m.
Saturday, 2/23: 2 & 7 p.m.
Sunday, 2/24: 7 p.m.
Friday, 3/8: 7 p.m.
Saturday, 3/9: 2 & 7 p.m.
Sunday, 3/10: 7 p.m.
