The Knights of Columbus is hosting their annual free-throw championship on January 26 and you're invited!

It will  take place at Harlingen South High School's main gym and doors will open at 12 p.m. for registration. Mayor Boswell of Harlingen will take the first shot at 1 p.m. and the event will continue until 3 p.m.

Israel Guajardo and Ernesto Rodriguez with the Knights of Columbus gave you more details into the event on Action 4 Sunrise.

There will be approximately 75 participants, ages 10-14 for boys and girls. The winners of this event will move on to regional and state competition held in San Antonio. Over 300 kids from all over Texas are expected to participate.

This event is open to all kids 10-14 in Harlingen, Rio Hondo and the immediate areas.
