A man accused of calling in a bomb threat to a Mercedes Speedy Stop went to court on Wednesday, but even the judge was surprised at what went on during the arraignment.
Rolando Rivas is a 47-year-old who lives at home with his mother.
She told Action 4 News there is no way her son, who has special needs, called in a bomb threat.
Mercedes Police traced the call to Rivas’ home. He claims he called the store in the morning to ask for the price of a 12-pack of cokes.
Tune in to Action 4 News at 10 to find out if the judge shows any leniency in issuing a bond. Tune in to also hear from Rivas’ mother.
