18-wheeler overturns in accident north of Elsa

Authorities are investigating an accident where an 18-wheeler overturned and ended up on its side.

It all happened near the intersection of Monte Cristo Road and FM 88 north of Elsa on Monday morning.

Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS) state troopers are investigating the accident.

Investigators told Action 4 News that the 18-wheeler was headed east on FM 1925 when the driver lost control.

State troopers believe the driver overcorrected causing the semi to rollover and land on its side.

No injuries are reported but authorities are working to get the 18-wheeler back up.
