Harlingen restaurant stabbing suspect turns himself in

The man who stabbed a 20-year-old at Buffalo Wild Wings turned himself into Harlingen authorities.

Ismael Sanchez was arrested after he went to the police department on Saturday evening.

According to Harlingen Police, a fight broke out at the restaurant around 1 a.m. on Friday.

When officers arrived to the scene, the 20-year-old victim was found with a stab wound in his front torso area and taken to a local hospital.

Several witnesses were there at the scene of the crime and Sanchez had fled the scene.

After turning himself in, Sanchez was given a $60,000 bond for Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon.

He was transported to the Cameron County Jail.
