(AP) -- An attorney linked to the Judge Able Limas scandal has been granted a change of venue.

The federal racketeering trial of an attorney linked to a disgraced former South Texas judge has been moved from Brownsville to Corpus Christi.

U.S. District Judge Andrew Hanen moved the trial of Marc Rosenthal, an Austin based attorney, from Brownsville to Corpus Christi.

Rosenthal is facing 13 federal charges including rackerteering and bribery.

He is accused of bribeing State District Judge Abel Limas for favorable rulings on cases.

Limas, who failed in his 2008 re-election bid, pleaded guilty to racketeering and faces sentencing next year.

Rosenthal, who's free on bond, has denied the allegations that also include mail fraud and witness tampering.
