A Houston murder suspect is behind bars after authorities found him living and working in the Rio Grande Valley.

Houston police arrested murder suspect Neil Mukherjee off FM 493 on Thursday morning.

Mukherjee is accused in the death of a woman during a botched robbery last week.

Investigators learned that Mukherjee had moved to Donna where he got a job at a local boat company.

Mukherjee is headed back to Houston where he is facing murder charges.

Authorities said he had a lengthy criminal history.
