A health inspector found live roach activity, off-temperature chicken and rice as well as cross contamination of foods, according to a report.
Management was not around when the Food Patrol tried to question the dirty dining.
A re-inspection showed 14 demerits.
Sora Sushi is a repeat low performer on the weekly program with 31 demerits.
The restaurant is located on 4920 North Expressway 77 in Brownsville.
A health inspector found unsound condition of lettuce, shrimp and chicken.
There was also a cross contamination violation with raw products stored over vegetables.
Super Cream on 1014 Ruben Torres Boulevard in Brownsville scored 25 demerits on a health inspection report.
The restaurant voluntarily destroyed salsa that an inspector found to be in unsound condition.
Several photos in the kitchen documented health code violations.
Management told the Food Patrol that this was their first inspection and that they plan to learn from the mistakes.
