A man who stole beer from a Stripes Convenience Store in December was caught on Thursday.

Surveillance footage from the store positively identified Jorge Abundez as one of two beer thieves.

On Dec. 27, Abundez and another suspect walked into the Stripes on the 1600 block Morgan Boulevard.

The men took three 18-packs of beer valued at over $55.

After identifying Abundez in the surveillance video, a warrant was issued for his arrest.

The 24-year-old was charged with four counts of theft.

His bond totals $4,000.
