Suspect wanted out of Georgia arrested in Brownsville

A man wanted for taking part in a Georgia cocaine distribution scheme was arrested in Brownsville.

Fransisco Javier Arispe was taken into custody on Saturday at the Brownsville Gateway Port of Entry.

From 2007 till 2011, Arispe along with 13 others, worked together to sell drugs in the Albany, Georgia area.  

According to court documents, Arispe and two other men took part in a large cocaine deal in August 2010.

Arispe was taken into federal custody.

He has been charged with conspiracy to possess with intent to distribute cocaine and crack cocaine.
