An Edinburg man is facing criminal charges after authorities raided his home and found several bundles of marijuana and cocaine baggies ready for sale on the streets.

Hidalgo County Sheriff’s Office deputies arrested 17-year-old Anthony Ozuna on drug charges on Thursday.

Investigators told Action 4 News that deputies received a tip Ozuna was selling drugs from his home at 3710 Molly Street just outside Edinburg.

Deputies found five bundles with 186 pounds of marijuana and 13 baggies of cocaine inside his house.

Ozuna is facing possession of marijuana and possession of a controlled substance charges.

The Edinburg man appeared before a judge at the Hidalgo County Jail on Friday morning where he was issued $75,000 dollars in bonds.

Sheriff Lupe Treviño reports that street-level drug dealers are magnets for crime.

“They support thieves and burglars and most of them will trade stolen items for the drugs,” Treviño said in a statement. “We will continue to pursue them with all of our resources.”
