Harlingen police arrested a man on Wednesday night after an officer found marijuana inside a McDonald’s bag.

The officer pulled over a maroon Mustang for a traffic violation on Wilson Road and South 77.

The driver, Lee Roy Garcia, appeared very nervous, even speaking when he was not being questioned.

Garcia kept looking over at a McDonald’s bag that was on the passenger’s seat.

The officer searched the McDonald’s bag and found a clear plastic bag of marijuana inside.

Garcia was taken to the Harlingen City Jail.

The 23-year-old man was charged with possession of marijuana, and his bond was set at $750.
