An auto-pedestrian accident that left a man dead is under investigation.

Alamo Police Chief Arturo Espinoza told Action 4 News the 30-year-old man was walking near the 400 block of Business 83 when he was struck by the car.

The driver of that vehicle did not stop to render aid, and the victim later died from his injuries.

Chief Arturo said they have one person in custody for questioning—no arrest have been made.

Action 4 News will continue to follow this story and provide more information as it become available.
