A family of four is recovering from injuries sustained from a two-vehicle car accident on Tuesday morning.
DPS State Trooper Johnny Hernandez tells Action 4 News, it happened on Mile 12 Road and FM 491 just north of Mercedes.
Hernandez says a father and three children were traveling in a Ford F-150, when a Jeep Wrangler struck their vehicle, causing the truck to skid off the road and the Jeep to flip over.
The family was transported to Knapp Hospital, where they are listed in stable condition. The driver of the jeep is in good condition.
No word yet on what charges the driver will face or what exactly caused the crash.
