Authorities roundup deadbeat parents in Hidalgo County

Authorities in Hidalgo County are spending the day rounding up parents who have not paid their child support.

Hidalgo County Sheriff Lupe Treviño told Action 4 News that deputies are teaming up with the Texas Attorney General's Office.

Sheriff Treviño said authorities are going through a list of 65 parents who have not paid their child support.

Arrests are expected to be made throughout the day on Tuesday.
