Rally held to support former McAllen football coach

Former McAllen head football coach Tony Harris.

A rally is being held Monday afternoon in support of the former McAllen head football coach Tony Harris.

He served as head coach with McAllen High School for 17 seasons.

Harris has been re-assigned to the assistant director of maintenance for McAllen ISD.

People who disagree with Harris’ new job position are gathering in front of the McAllen ISD Administration Building at 4:30 p.m.

Parents, players and other are speaking out at the event in support of Coach Harris.
