The Mavericks jumped out to a 9-2 lead, but Provost hit two three-pointers and a jumper to power an 8-2 run and bring the Broncs (2-6) to within 11-10.

The Mavericks led by 14 twice, going up 40-26 on a Deon Rodgers layup with 14:02 remaining. Josh Cleveland responded with back-to-back baskets and Jamal Dantzler converted a three-point play as the Broncs pulled to within 40-33 with 11:29 to go.
