Witnesses: Fatal fall victim was sliding down escalator

Witnesses are reporting that a man who fell to his death after a Houston Texans game was sliding down the railing of escalator.

The fatal accident happened at Houston's Reliant Stadium just after a pre-season game against the Minnesota Vikings on Thursday evening.

KHOU-TV reported on its website that the man fell 60 feet from an escalator.

The Houston-based TV station reported that paramedics rushed the man to a nearby hospital but that he died.

Houston police are investigating the accident but have not released the man's identity.

Witnesses told KHOU that the man was sliding down the railing of the escalator.
