It's the game of the season and some are already staking out a seat.
The showdown between the Harlingen Cardinals and the San Antonio Warren Warriors face off at 2 p.m. Saturday.
The two teams are meeting at Corpus Christi's Buccaneer Stadium, located just outside downtown on Up River Road.
Many are hoping that the game will break the third round playoffs curse for Rio Grande Valley teams.
But becuase it's a playoffs game, the seats are first-come, first-serve.
Action 4 News has received reports that some Cardinals fans are camping out at the stadium to make sure they get the best spot.
Regardless, officials are saying its advisable to plan ahead and bring your patience and good sportsmanship.
Action 4 News spoke to the Border Patrol about possible delays and what to expect going through the Sarita Chekcpoint.
Agency spokesman Dan Milian said the Border Patrol usually has extra personnel and staff on had at the checkpoint for the holidays.
Although Border Patrol agents can always open more lanes if they see the line of cars getting too long, Milian said it's best to plan ahead and allow for extra time.
