Grid Iron Heroes, an association that helps injured football players needs your help.

The group will start taking pledges in the post season.

The Valley Athletic Trainers Association goes to the games and asks you to fill the helmet with your donation that will help high school football players with severe spinal cord injuries.

The funds go to improve the home of an injured player when it comes to accessibility.

The Valley Athletic Trainers Association has collected up to 20 thousand dollars since the program's inception three years ago.
