A Harlingen man threatens his neighbors with a knife after they asked him and his girlfriend to quiet down during an argument.
Harlingen police say neighbors at the 800 block of North 26th Street asked 22 year old Joshua David Rodriguez and his girlfriend to lower their voices after they were awoke by shouting early Tuesday morning.
The woman reportedly told neighbors to mind their own business and went back inside.
A few minutes later one of the neighbors heard banging on his front door.
The neighbor told police he opened the door and found Rodriguez standing outside with a knife.
Police say Rodriguez became very angry and started yelling at the man.
Another person came out to help calm Rodriguez, but instead police say he tried to entice the men to fight.
Officers found Rodriguez in his apartment and recovered the knife.
He was charged with 2 counts of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.
Total bond was $60,000.
