An Hidalgo man is arrested for stabbing, biting and beating his girlfriend.

Inocencia Arce told a deputy Robert Cortina pushed her to the ground, placed a pocket knife to her chest and threaten to kill her.

She was then forced into a vehicle.

Deputies said once inside the vehicle Cortina ripped off the rearview mirror and started beating Arce with it.

He then grabbed her head and slammed it into the front windshield.

Arce was stabbed in the chest and sustained numerous bumps and bruises, and her lips were swollen.

The deputies report stated both of her hands were bitten as well.

The alleged attacked started at the corner of Val Verde and State Highway 107 in rural San Carlos in Hidalgo County.

Cortina was charged with aggravated assault.

His bond was set at $2,500.
