The Hidalgo County Sheriff’s Department is looking for a man who stole a truck on Friday at gunpoint.

The robbery happened on Friday afternoon in Donna.

Deputies said a 45-year-old man went into a body shop on Sites Road to inquire about a Ford F-150 that was for sale.

An employee took the man out for a test drive and during the drive the suspect pulled out a small black handgun.

He threatened the victim, forcing him to pull over the 2009 Ford.

The body shop employee was let out of the car, without any injuries.

The suspect is still out on the run.

He is described as being 5’ 8” and was last seen wearing blue jeans, a short sleeve shirt, a belt and boots.
