Brownsville police make arrest in sexual abuse investigation

A young Brownsville man is behind bars after being accused of sexually assaulting a child.

Brownsville police arrested Raul Elber Moncivais-Sanchez on Saturday evening.

Investigators are not released details about the investigation.

But jail records show that Moncivais-Sanchez is facing three counts of sexual assault of a child.

Moncivais-Sanchez remains in custody at the Cameron County Jail.
