Several people fled from authorities after they led police on a chase Sunday morning.
Palmview police attempted to pull over a 2004 white Dodge Durango for a traffic stop.
The Durango did not stop when police turned on their lights and a chase ensued on the 1000 block of Expressway 83.
The driver led police down Expressway 83, Los Ebanos and Inspiration Road.
The chase finally stopped on 1 Mile South Road.
Authorities said that 10 to 12 people jumped out of the car and fled on foot.
Only one suspect was detained. The driver has not been identified.
