Authorities are looking for a gunman who allegedly pistol-whipped a cook and robbed a fast food restaurant in Raymondville.

It all happened at the Stars Drive-In on the 400 block of East Hidalgo Boulevard around 11 p.m. Wednesday.

Raymondville police said a cook was out by the restaurant's dumpster when he was approached by the suspect.

Investigators said the suspect hit the cook with a gun, pointed it at him and then made him crawl on his hands and knees back into the restaurant.

Once inside the restaurant, the suspect allegedly held up three other female employees and then took about $100 from the cash box.

The armed suspect fled the scene in a vehicle that was last seen speeding down 11th Street.

Witneses could not give a good description of the vehicle.

Anyone with information about the crime is urged to call Raymondville police at (956) 642-7463.
