Three men are behind bars after an overnight robbery at a convenience store in Edinburg.

Edinburg police filed aggravated robbery charges against the three men early Wednesday morning.

Investigators told Action 4 News that the three men are accused of robbing an Aziz convenience store on the 1500 block of Monte Cristo Road.

Authorities have not released the names of the suspects but said two of them are 18 years old and the other is 25 years old.

Police are checking if the three suspects are connected to a string of robberies in San Juan and Alamo.

The three suspects are expected to be arraigned on Thursday.
