Authorities are searching for a man who led deputies on a rural chase and then bailed out in a Donna neighborhood.
It all started on Val Verde and Minnesota Roads just after 12 p.m. Monday.
The suspect led Hidalgo County Sheriff's Office deputies on a chase down Val Verde Road.
According to police radio traffic, the suspect drove at high rates of speed and sometimes on the shoulder of the road.
The suspect bailed out on Elm Street in a neighborhood just northwest of Val Verde Road and Business 83.
