Authorities are asking for the public's help in finding two men who robbed a convenience store in Weslaco at gunpoint.
It all happened at the Tejano Mart at 1540 East Business 83 around 1 a.m. Friday.
Weslaco police said two men entered the store but one of them threatened the clerk while displaying what appeared to be a handgun wrapped in a piece of clothing.
The man displaying the handgun demanded money from the register while the other man grabbed cigarettes from the display.
Both of them left in a dark-colored SUV, possibly a black Ford Expedition, with the cigarettes and about $100 dollars in cash.
Surveillance cameras captured the images of both men.
One is described as a Hispanic male, wearing a green jacket, faded blue jeans and an orange baseball cap.
The second suspect is also described as a Hispanic male, wearing a blue jacket, blue jeans, and a black baseball cap.
