Two people have been hospitalized following a Wednesday morning accident between two pickup trucks on the highway to Port Mansfield.
It all happened near the intersection of Highway 186 and FM 2099 on Wednesday morning.
Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS) state troopers are investigating the accident.
State troopers said a man driving a Toyota pickup truck was making a left turn when it was hit by a Ford pickup truck.
One person was reportedly trapped inside a vehicle and had to be extracted by rescuers.
State troopers said both drivers were taken to the Valley Bapist Medical Center in Harlingen where they are listed in stable condition and expected to recover.
