A Harlingen man is jailed after police investigate reports he’d had sex with a 14-year old girl.
According to reports, officers were called to Harlingen High School located at the 1200 block of East Marshall after ‘an outcry’ was made by a 14-year-old student.
The girl explained to police she’d been having sex with a man who’s just been released from prison on ‘other related charges.
Hector Del Angel Moreno, 21, was arrested and charged with aggravated sexual assault of a child which is a first degree felony.
Investigators confirm the sex was consensual, but since the girl was underage a crime was committed.
Moreno’s bond was set at 250,000 dollars.
