Authorities arrested a man whose finger had to be reattached after being cut off during a knife fight.  

San Benito police arrested 21-year-old Luis Angel Romero on an aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.

Romero is accused of stabbing 23-year-old Sean Adrian Ramirez early Saturday on Woodford Street.

Police said Romero accidentally cut of his own finger during the attack.

A San Benito Municipal Court Judge set bond for Romero at $5,000 dollars.

Police said both Romero and Ramirez are recovering from the incident.
