Teen hit by car in Harlingen

Members of the Action 4 News team worked together to bring you this report.

Authorities are investigating an auto accident where a car hit a jaywalking teen in Harlingen.

It all happened off South 77 Sunshine Strip and East Harrison Avenue around 7:30 p.m. Friday.

Investigators told Action 4 News that a Toyota hit a teenager who was jaywalking.

The driver of the car stopped but allegedly started to hyperventilate.

No charges have been filed against the driver.
