Authorities are working on a major one vehicle accident that happened just north of Raymondville around one on Tuesday morning.

DPS Sgt. Johnny Hernandez tells Action 4 that three men and one female are dead, a three-year-old girl was airlifted to Valley Baptist Medical Center in critical condition and three other victims were transported to a local hospital with injuries.

They were all inside a GMC Yukon going south on Hwy 77 when the driver went off the roadway and overcorrected the vehicle, causing it to rollover several times. At least four of those passengers were ejected from the SUV and Hernandez says no seat belts were worn.

The three men died at the scene of the crash, the woman died hours later at Valley Baptist.

Those killed have been identified as a 47-year-old male from the Harlingen area, a 35-year-old male from Brownsville, the third male has still not been identified. Their names are expected to be released later today.

The crash remains under investigation.
