A Brownsville man is behind bars after being accused of molesting a child younger than 16 years old.
Brownsville police arrested 48-year-old Manuel Julian Galindo around 7:30 p.m. Tuesday.
Investigators told Action 4 News that Galindo is accused of indecency with a child by contact.
A child under 16 years of age recently made an outcry prompting a criminal investigation.
Officers arrested Galindo at a home on the 4500 block of Espinosa Lane on the city's northside.
Galindo remains in custody at the Brownsville City Jail but bond information was not immediately available.
