Power failure closes four buildings on UTPA campus

Authorities have temporarily shut down four buildings following a power failure on the UTPA campus in Edinburg.

University officials confirmed that the power failure happened on Monday morning.

The outage affected the HSHE, MAGC, BUSA,and EDUC buildings.

All four buildings remain closed but are expected to reopen at 11:45 a.m. Monday.
