Nervous driver leads to hidden compartment in truck

What was a routine traffic stop in Brownsville, ends up being anything but.

According to Brownsville police a K-9 officer pulled over a driver along the 28000 Block of South Expressway for failing to signal lane change.

When the officer approached Juan Flores Jr's car, he stated Flores appeared nervous.

The officer grew suspicious and decided to deploy his K-9.

The dog alerted the officer that something could be in the vehicle.

The vehicle was X-Rayed, results showed there were two hidden compartments with several bundles of cocaine inside.

In all four packages of the drug, totaling 9.76 pounds were recovered from the truck.

Flores was charged with possession of a controlled substance. Bond was set at $100,000.
