Get out and vote!
It’s a simple message spreading throughout the Valley community.
AACT Now has set-up a call center inside their McAllen Office calling registered voters from all counties reminding them to vote.
The biggest issue when speaking to voters over the phone is many does know where to vote.
“People do not know the precinct they belong too” said AACT Now Eliza Alvarado.
“Voter’s don’t know why their precinct from 2008 election has been moved” she added.
AACT Now has teamed with many organizations and businesses including banks, universities, pharmacies and Action 4 to spread their ‘get out the vote’ message.
Tuesday morning ARISE was in Las Milpas hosting a Vote Rally in the colonias
“We want people to know the polls are open” said Eliza.
Polls are open until 7 p.m. tonight.
