Hidalgo County Sheriff’s Department is investigating an aggravated robbery north of Edinburg.
The robbery happened Sunday at home off of Monte Cristo Road and Sunflower Road.
Eight armed men wearing black ski masks stormed into a couple’s home.
The husband and wife had just moved into the home on Friday. Neighbors said that two weeks ago, an AC unit had been stolen from the house.
When the eight suspects stormed into the home, they beat up and tied up the husband. They also hit the wife in the head.
The wife was able to get up and call neighbors who contacted 911.
The suspects took an unknown amount of money, a television and stole a black Ford Truck.
They are all on the run at this time.
