A second suspect charged in the aggravated kidnapping of a female student at the University of Texas Pan American faced a judge on Saturday morning.
UTPA Police said Miguel Treviño, 20, was one of three men that forced the student into their car on September 25 at the university parking lot.
Officers, with the help of the FBI, tracked down Treviño to his home in Pharr on Friday morning.
He spent the night in jail and faced a judge Saturday morning in Edinburg.
The municipal judge charged him with aggravated kidnapping and issued him a $500,000 bond.
Earlier in the week, police officers tracked down their first suspect, Miguel Angel Navarro, 35, to a business in McAllen.
The judge also charged him with jailed him under at $500,000 bond.
Police also identified the third suspect in the kidnapping as Onan Herrera-Sanchez, 28, a Honduran man reportedly living in Pharr.
UTPA Police said Herrera-Sanchez also goes by the name Frank Omar Landerverde.
He is described as 6-feet tall, and weighs 200 pounds.
